Mid-Drop OWB Rig – Single Layer

Built for speed, stability, and durability, our Mid-Drop OWB Rig positions the firearm slightly below the beltline for a fast, natural draw while maintaining excellent stability and comfort. Built around our proven single-layer OWB shell, this setup is ideal for range use, training, competition, and everyday open carry.

Single-Layer Construction

Precision-molded from a single 0.08" thermoplastic shell for a lightweight, durable design with consistent retention.

Adjustable Retention

Dual retention screws allow draw resistance to be easily fine-tuned to your preference.

Mid-Drop Mount Included

Every Mid-Drop Rig includes our direct-to-mid-drop mounting system as standard. This rigid mounting method offers the greatest stability and is our recommended configuration for most users, especially for training and hard use.

Optional QLS-Style Fork & Receiver

For users who want modularity, the mid-drop can be configured with a QLS-style fork and receiver, allowing the holster to be quickly swapped between compatible mounting platforms.

Please Note: While extremely convenient, the QLS-style system introduces additional flex and movement compared to the direct-mounted configuration. It is intended for modularity and convenience rather than maximum rigidity and is not recommended for hard-duty or heavy-use applications.

2.5" Belt Compatibility

Designed to fit belts up to 2.5" wide without additional adapters.

Optional Leg Strap

An optional leg strap is available for users who want additional stability during movement or extended use.

Red-Dot Cut (Optional)

Optional optic cut accommodates the majority of slide-mounted red dot sights.

Retention Level & Optic Compatibility (Important)

Standard Retention (Level 1)

With the optional red-dot cut selected, most optics are compatible without restriction.

Level 2 and Level 3 Configurations

Large-profile optics, including ACRO-style enclosed emitters, are not compatible with Level 2 or Level 3 retention systems. These optics introduce excessive leverage and hardware movement, preventing safe and reliable secondary retention.

Orders placed with Level 2 or Level 3 retention and incompatible optics cannot be built as requested.

All standard Kydex colors are included in the listed price.

Glow-in-the-Dark

Glow-in-the-dark materials are exclusive to our dual-layer holsters and are not available on single-layer builds.

Cordura® Wrap (Optional)

Adds abrasion resistance and a durable fabric finish.

Selecting a Cordura wrap covers the exterior Kydex surface and overrides any exterior print or color selection.

Print Orientation Notice:
If you select both a printed Kydex pattern and a Cordura wrap, the printed exterior will normally be hidden beneath the wrap. If you would like that printed layer visible on the inside of the holster instead, simply include a note during checkout requesting "Swap outside layer to inside."
