Our Dual Layer Outside-the-Waistband (OWB) Holster is built for customers who demand maximum durability, premium customization, and dependable performance. Constructed from two precision-formed 0.08" thermoformed polymer layers, the finished holster features a rigid 0.16" total thickness while offering expanded color combinations, glow-in-the-dark options, premium wrap materials, and custom finishes.

OWB Features

Dual Layer Construction

Two precision-formed 0.08" polymer shells are permanently bonded together to create a durable 0.16" thick holster with increased structural strength and expanded customization options.

Adjustable Retention

Dual retention screws allow you to fine-tune the draw to your personal preference while maintaining secure firearm retention.

Optional Red Dot Cut

A red dot optic cut is available at no additional charge. Simply select the option before adding your holster to your cart.

Universal OWB Mounting Pattern

Every OWB holster is pre-drilled using a common mounting pattern compatible with many popular aftermarket mounting systems, allowing you to easily change your setup without replacing the holster.

Attachment Options

Choose the mounting system that best fits your application.

• Tek-Lok Style Belt Attachment – Fits belts up to 2 inches wide and provides a secure, adjustable mounting solution.

• Paddle Style Attachment – Easy to install and remove without taking off your belt.

• QLS-Style Fork Only – Compatible with QLS-style receiver systems.

• RTI-Style Mount – Compatible with RTI-style mounting systems.

• Tegris MOLLE Mount (3") – Designed for MOLLE belts, plate carriers, chest rigs, and load-bearing equipment.

• No Attachment – Holster is supplied with mounting holes only, allowing you to install your own compatible hardware.

Optic Compatibility

Standard Retention (Level 1)

The optional red dot cut accommodates the vast majority of modern slide-mounted optics without affecting retention.

Level 2 & Level 3 Retention Systems

Large enclosed-emitter optics, including ACRO-style optics, are not compatible with our Level 2 or Level 3 retention systems.

Due to the additional leverage created by these optics, safe and reliable secondary retention cannot be achieved.

How Dual Layer Holsters Work

Every Dual Layer holster is constructed using two separate polymer layers.

Inside Layer – Visible on the inside of the holster.

Outside Layer – The exterior structural and visible layer.

This allows you to mix and match colors, prints, and glow materials to create a truly custom holster.

If you select an exterior print or pattern and would like that print to be visible on the inside of the holster instead, simply include that request in your order notes during checkout.

If no instruction is provided, the holster will be assembled using our standard orientation.

If a wrap material is selected, the wrap becomes the visible exterior finish and covers the outside polymer layer.

Wrap Materials & Glow Options

Customize your holster with premium wrap materials including genuine leather, fabric wraps, and specialty finishes.

Glow-in-the-Dark Materials

Glow-in-the-dark materials are exclusive to our Dual Layer holsters and are available in multiple glow colors.

The amount of visible glow depends on the wrap material selected.

Glow-Through Wraps

These wrap materials allow the glow layer beneath to shine through the material, producing a brighter overall glow effect.

Edge Glow Wraps

Most other wrap materials block the glow layer. With these materials, the glow will primarily be visible around the edges and trim of the holster, creating a subtle illuminated outline while preserving the appearance of the selected wrap.

If maximum glow performance is important to you, we recommend selecting one of the Glow-Through wrap options listed above.

Weapon-Mounted Light Information

If your firearm uses a non-standard rail key, adapter, aftermarket mounting system, or proprietary weapon light configuration, this information must be included in your order notes.

If no information is provided, your holster will be manufactured using the rail key or configuration we determine to be the most compatible.

If you are unsure which rail key or adapter your setup uses, please contact us before placing your order. Some specialty adapters and aftermarket mounting systems may not be supported.

If your holster experiences a fitment issue within 30 days of delivery, contact us through our website and we'll evaluate the issue for a one-time remake under our fitment guarantee.
