Mid-Drop OWB Rig – Dual Layer Kydex

Built for stability, durability, and configurable retention, our Dual-Layer Mid-Drop OWB Rig positions the firearm just below the beltline for a natural, efficient draw. Using the same proven dual-layer holster shell as our OWB lineup, this rig is designed for duty use, training, and competition environments where added clearance and stability are preferred.

• Dual-Layer Kydex Construction
  Two precision-molded 0.08″ Kydex layers combined into a rigid 0.16″ total thickness shell for increased durability and expanded finish options.

• Adjustable Retention
  Dual-screw tension system allows draw resistance to be fine-tuned.

• Mid-Drop Mount Included
  Ships standard with a mid-drop mounting solution designed to lower the holster below the beltline for improved access and clearance.

• QLS-Ready Modular Mounting
  Built to accept common QLS mounting systems, allowing fast mounting changes between belts or platforms.

• Optional Leg Strap
  A leg strap is available as an optional accessory for users who want additional stability during aggressive movement.

• Optional Red-Dot Cut
  Optional optic cut accommodates the majority of slide-mounted red dots when configured correctly.

Retention Level & Optic Compatibility (Important)

Standard Retention (Level 1)
With the optional red-dot cut selected, most optics are compatible without restriction.

Level 2 and Level 3 Configurations
Large-profile optics, including ACRO-style enclosed emitters, are not compatible with Level 2 or Level 3 retention systems. These optics introduce excessive leverage and hardware movement, preventing safe and reliable secondary retention.

Orders placed with Level 2 or Level 3 retention and incompatible optics cannot be built as requested.

Dual-Layer Construction Explained (Important)

All dual-layer holsters are built using two separate layers of Kydex:

• Inside Kydex – The interior layer visible inside the holster

• Outside Kydex – The exterior structural and visual layer

If you select an exterior printed Kydex pattern (such as camo or specialty prints) and would like that print to be flipped and visible on the inside of the holster, this must be stated in the order notes at checkout.

If no instruction is provided, the exterior print will be installed in the standard orientation and will not be visible on the interior of the holster.

If a Cordura wrap is selected, the Cordura replaces the exterior Kydex visually.

Materials & Options

• Standard Base Colors Included
  All standard base Kydex colors are included in the listed price.

• Glow-in-the-Dark
  Glow-in-the-dark materials are available only on dual-layer holsters, which this model uses exclusively.

• Cordura Wrap (Optional)
  Adds abrasion resistance and a durable outer finish.
  Selecting a Cordura wrap will override any exterior Kydex print selection.

All dual-layer holsters are covered by two levels of warranty protection:

30-Day Fitment Guarantee
Dual-layer setups are eligible for a one-time remake under our 30-day fitment guarantee.
If you experience any fitment issues, please contact us through the contact form within 30 days of delivery so we can evaluate and arrange a replacement.

Lifetime Structural Guarantee
All dual-layer holsters are backed by a lifetime guarantee against cracking or deforming under normal use.
If a structural issue occurs at any time, reach out through the contact form for a replacement.
